Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are having a good weekend I'm posting another couple of layouts.
First up said 15 year old at Gainsborough Old Hall last summer we had a great trip out there, on our first visit!
Next up two photos taken last year at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, hubby set the self timer up and then a family came trundling through and we assumed the timer would have captured them on the photo, so hubby set it up again. We had to giggle when we saw that the first 'spoilt' photo actually had hubby walking back towards the camera! Definitely worthy of a layout!
Well on a week when the weather has been changeable the work days have been long, we don't have quite so many photos to share unfortunately, but I've a few nonetheless!
First up we all went on a walk at the weekend, given that said 15 year old was still getting over the time differences with New York we did wonder whether it would happen, but it was hubby's birthday, so we headed to the local dam to brush off the mental cobwebs and had a lovely walk albeit a little cold!
These two really are lovely to be around, there is always positive conversations and chatting and I love the natural look of the photo too!
And look it was a blue skies day when we had the walk, sunshine and water and blue skies - really are good for the old mental attitude!
We even stopped at the cafe at the end, it was heaving inside (probably due to it being Valentine's day and everyone was partaking in cakes and coffee after their walk), so we ended up sitting outside, but I didn't mind because, although it was cold we had good company and blue skies to enjoy!
I'm doing some of these photos in reverse - apologies, we had our 'romantic' evening meal on Friday and Saturday night. Friday night we cheated and had an M&S meal for two (as we normally do), it was lovely and we really enjoyed just chilling out and spending time together. Said 15 year old was in the TV blatting things on Xbox, in case you were wondering!
The M&S dessert was lovely - although somewhat lost on the plate, I'm not a big lover of white chocolate but I just about tolerated this!
Saturday afternoon, my Mum, sister and niece headed over for some family time (it was my Mum's birthday too), we had made cakes and scones so it was more of a tea party. We had a good few hours chatting which was lovely!
The rest of the week has been a bit of a blur, work work and a bit more work, on the positive side, the days have flown by and I've been very busy - which is always good!
I've got another meeting this morning about job number 3 (don't ask) and then some time to myself this afternoon which I'm looking forward to.
I've managed some scrapping this week and at last count was up to 64 layouts this month so far!
I've also got another photo order to pick up (not that I don't have enough to be getting on with!)

Good morning, did anyone just blink and find themselves on Thursday? Yep me too - what is happening to these weeks at the moment - absolutely crazy!
Now you may be thinking 'I've seen this photo before' it is a pity I didn't realise that I'd already scrapped a first day at school photo for this school year - sigh, but I'm not throwing it away - so we shall just put up with two of them!
Next up - was a 'take a seat' in the Chatsworth exhibition from last year, it was I think the only one outside, right at the front of the house, it was there the first time we visited - it was gone when we went next, so this is probably quite a rare photo!
Once said 15 year old settled himself on the same - all he could say was that it was 'odd'
And finally bluebells last year in a local wood, they are so prolific when they flower in the area and despite them being near a busy main road and housing estate, once you are in the wood at that time of year you could be a million miles away!

Crikey it's been a while since I joined in with WOYWW but thought I would this morning as a few minutes on my hands
You should have found me fromJulia's desk here a place to meet up and share our productive creative spaces on a weekly basis!
So this is the aforementioned desk - still enough space in the middle to scrap (just). The pile of paper on the right is for a new kit I've put together inspired by the colours on the CSI blog. The rest is remnants of papers from another kit I've just finished off.
If I turn to my right - my main scrapping cupboard is in sight - (yes isn't it a sight! - needs a tidy - I won't show you the floor). The doors pull out and then slide in so they are above the items in the cupboard, these thin shelf like spaces are excellent for putting completed layouts before I photograph them!
As you can just about make out here.

Morning all, the photos below are a double page spread (finally), I've played with the photos soooooooooo many times without success.
It was our first trip to Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet and near the end there was an education room showing the process of pouring the molten steel etc (without the steel obviously), said 15 year old (who was definitely said 14 year old at the time) had a go to see if he could manage it and I caught it on camera!
Morning all, Monday appears all too quickly on the horizon don't you think. I'm sharing a few layouts this morning.
First a 'cousin' shot that I've created, I love the expressions on their faces.
Next up a layout of my niece on her 16th birthday last year, we went to Mablethorpe for the day and hired two beach huts. She had balloons and water fights and 'frolicked' on the beach, crazy golf, boat ride, dodgems, cake, fish and chips - you name it, she did it!
And another couple of shots of the cake and niece!

Another three layouts this evening for you, first up a photo I took when visiting a local coffee shop with hubby, I played with the original photo on a couple of apps adding filters and writing; it's amazing the things you can do with free apps online.
I doctored the paper so that the rose overlapped the border rather than being hidden behind it, I thought the papers were quite formal for the photograph and enjoyed hand stitching around the border.
Next up me and said 15 year old on a walk around a local dam last September, there is a quaint little bridge we use to cross the stream and it's always beautiful, covered in dappled shade from the tree canopy, we love to stop and enjoy the view of the water. I used a star stamp to add to the cardstock a white pen (which has now sadly run out - I need another one) and some die cut shapes!
And finally another fun layout of hubby and said 15 year old when we were traipsing around the Maize Maze last year, the last evening opening of the Maze before it was cut down at the end of the season, the maize is then used to feed the cows on the farm, who produce the milk, that creates the ice cream, so we always refer to the maize as the cow's Christmas dinner! If you haven't been to a maize maze - I can thoroughly recommend, although on a hot day they can be very warm to walk around, sometimes it's more fun to do the torchlit ones, although we still get the odd question along the lines of 'Is this the way out?' - tickles us every time!
