ROCKING YOUR WORLD FRIDAY - 32ND OF 2025

Good morning lovely people time for

Well last weekend after a busy Thursday we had a quieter Friday and then on Saturday headed to YSP for the first time in an absolute age if I'm honest.

There was a new exhibition upstairs in the main centre, all hand turned wood that are painted

and this fabulous textile hanging

then for the walk, we had a good walk through the park, despite me having a very dodgy foot at the moment.

We also enjoyed a selfie inside this sculpture (normally you can't get into it).

We ended the trip in the underground gallery where there is a new exhibition, this ampersand when you look from the other direction

is a leaf

I also loved the bigger pieces

we need to go back and look at this cat because apparently from a different angle it looks like a coffee pot.

We also watched the two animations that were playing, both mesmerising but both based on very sad parts of history.  One around Russia and its previous leaders (Stalin etc)  and another around the ebola crisis in west Africa a few years ago

Outside there were some big pieces of artwork, this one was called stroke, but hubby thought it should have been called spike.

We did lots of walking and I came home with poorly feet but thoroughly filled up with new artwork.

Sunday we had a quiet day which was lovely and then back to work.

The working week was busy but ripped along at a fair pace.  Hubby helped out on Tuesday as we were short on drivers.

Then today being my first day off of the week we've deep cleaned the dining room and got some washing done.

I hope you've had a fabulous week.

Hugs
