I noticed it on Friday when I clocked the 13th rocking post of the year - 13 - that's a quarter of the year - yes that's right. 13 weeks in so how is your year looking so far, have you ticked things off the to do list, achieved what you were wanting to achieve by now, making good headway? Have the resolutions been ticked off or drop kicked? Either way there is still lots of time to make changes and progress!
I think I need to 'shift' things a little bit if I'm honest, it's noting how best to do that but it's not insurmountable just a determination to crack on as it were. But whilst I'm making these changes I'll share a few layouts with you. First up a double page I did around our visit to Souter Lighthouse last year. We would never have found this place had it not been for a recommendation from Jen, we had a fab afternoon on a gorgeous coastline!
Next up our first visit to Bridgnorth enjoying a ride in the cliff side railway
And finally a photo documenting our visit to a Japanese garden last year, it was a beautiful day and it was a gorgeous day out!
So there we go, hope you are having a good day!

LAST TWO (WELL FOR NOW ANYWAY)
Good morning lovely people, I have two final (and I use that word loosely because I do have some leftovers from this kit!) layouts to share using the A Charmed Life - Simple Stories range from Wear Crafts - I know Jen has a few of the items left, so hope on over here and have a look if you fancy.
I used some plain blue cardstock and then offcuts and a frame on this one, hand stitching, a sticker and some journalling - sorted!
The photo was taken of said 14 year old enjoying the bouldering when we visited High Force Water Fall in Teesdale - him and his Dad thoroughly enjoyed climbing over all the rocks for a better view (and because they can!)
And this one, using strips of paper, highlighted with glossy accents, two square photos, hand stitching and a foam mounted tag with the title 'It's a Charmed Life'. Hidden journalling.
Photos taken on the beach near Souter Lighthouse, I can still hear that crashing wave noise in my head when I think about that day!
Hope you have a happy scrapping day!

HELLO SUNSHINE
Good morning, well this is my last layout using the gorgeous Simple Stories DIY Boutique collection from Jen at Wear Crafts - click here to find out more
Up to now the pages have been bright and vibrant, but I went for a more subtle scheme on this page. Using up some of the gorgeous polka dots, some brads, burlap stickers and the title sticker. I used a 12" wide photo that I'd had printed and all came together really quickly.
The photo was a panoramic of a gorgeous photo taken on the beach near Souter Lighthouse, an idyllic day, blue skies, beach and crashing waves!
Hope you are having a happy scrapping day!

SIMPLE STORIES - WEAR CRAFTS - MEMORIES
Morning all, well Wednesday morning already, apparently the first day of Autumn yesterday here in the UK and can't I tell - the mornings are darker and the sun is struggling to get above the horizon!
Thought I'd share another layout using the 'A Charmed Life' bundle kit I got from Jen at Wear Crafts.
I went really simple on this one, I punched a load of hearts from different papers, used a strip of the polka dot paper, added the photo, a bit of stitching around the edge and a cluster of embellishments over on the left.
Documenting hubby and said 14 year old stood inside a lighthouse light at Souter Lighthouse (fab place to visit).
I add a few glossy accents to the little navy blue polka dots on the page and a bit of journalling and it was done, I love a quick layout! If you want to see more of the Simple Stories range, check out Wear Crafts website here.
