WEAR CRAFTS - GRAPHIC 45 FRENCH COUNTRY - JUST ONE MORE LAYOUT

Good morning, hope Tuesday greets you positive and bright, I have one final layout to share from a selection I've done recently using the fabulous Graphic 45 French Country papers sent from the lovely Jen at Wear Crafts, head over to her website if you fancy getting hold of some of these yourself.

This was when I had pretty much run out of those gorgeous papers, I had some scraps left on my desk and thought that I surely could create one more layout.

I grabbed a sheet of cream cardstock that I had as these papers have a beautiful rich cream base running through them and started playing.  I am not great with white space, but on the few times I manage to pull it off - it works a treat.

I edged the papers in a distress type stamp using some peeled paint distress ink and then got to playing.

By matting the photo on the dark heraldic paper it still pops, then I layered papers behind it.  I used a border punch on the top left with some strips of paper I had left over and the 'offcut' from this punched strip is the scalloped edge you can see above the red paper.

The photo is of me, my sister and said 13 year old when we went to Crich Tramway museum in 2013, we were treated to a fabulous sunny day and there is a fantastic woodland walk all the way back down into the 'town' which we enjoyed! Oh for a sunny day!

Up close you can see the hand stamped title and the inking and scalloped edge.  It really was great fun to make!

WEAR CRAFTS LAYOUT USING GRAPHIC 45 FRENCH COUNTRY - PART 3

Good Morning, well Monday morning comes around fast enough doesn't it.  Here I am sharing the next layout I created using the Graphic 45 - French Country papers sent to me by the lovely Jen at Wear Crafts, check out her website if fancy getting hold of some of these yourself.

Now I know I've mentioned that I was worried about the strong patterns on these papers - but I so loved this layout once it was complete.

In order to make sure the photo didn't get 'lost' I made sure that the piece behind was relatively simple, mounting up on both cream and then black cardstock to really make it pop.

Hand stamped title and journal again.  I chose this photo because it matched the gorgeous rich colours that are contained within the papers themselves.  It was taken when we visited Portmeirion last year, that place is so bright and colourful!

WEAR CRAFTS - FRENCH COUNTRY LAYOUT

Good Morning tis Sunday and what better way to start the day but share a layout with you.  These are using the fabulous Graphic 45 papers, sent by the lovely Jen at Wear Crafts.  I shared with you a 'heraldic' style double layout yesterday using these papers, which as I mentioned I was a little daunted by due to the heavy patterning on them, but they really are a delight to use.

This also meets the UK Scrappers challenge set by my fabulous team the Juicy Journallers - this is the one girls where I struggled a bit with the spray inks if I'm honest!

I created a border for the page, hand stamped using peeled paint distress ink the hearts and stars, I used some vibrant spray ink, but then put a doily I had lying around (as you do) over the top to tone it down.  The title is hand stamped and I created a circle to put in the middle of the doily out of the papers.

I backed the strip along the bottom on cream cardstock, I added some handcut chevrons (which are harder to create than I expected and journalled on the top left hand side.  All in all I was really pleased with the finished item and I think it again shows the versatility of these papers.

Up close you can see the hand stamped title and the ink splodges as well as the hearts and stars on the page.
