Rocking Your World Friday - 50th of 2019

Good afternoon tis Friday time for

Well it's been a hard week, unfortunately last Friday we had a loss in the family in that my Mum-in-law passed away.  It was expected unfortunately just not this soon and as you can imagine it was a mighty hard day.

So why you may be asking am I including it on my post, well because reaching the age of 94 I think is no small feat so whilst we were immensely sad we are trying to celebrate her life a little bit as we ease into whatever normal is after such a significant loss.

So last Friday night only a few hours after our loss, hubby decided that rather than let our tickets for the Angels are Coming go to waste that we should go and enjoy the evening and that we did, in celebration of her life.

Angels are Coming was held at Sheffield Cathedral as a digital light display with music on the exterior of the church before entering the church for a further display of light and nativity scene that was just lovely.

This was my favourite image that hubby caught of the display

Inside the cathedral was just as stunning

As you can see - washed in a blue colour and stars - simply stunning

Another Angel at the far end whose wings moved

And a large life size nativity scene

I hope you don't mind me keeping this one short and sweet because on top of the loss I've also been unwell and prolonged time on computers is exacerbating the problem - so I hope you've had a beautiful and blessed week.

If you fancy joining in pop a post together, come back and link up so we can come and visit.
