ROCKING YOUR WORLD FRIDAY- 47TH OF 2022

Morning all, look I'm on time for a change, let's put the flags out.

Last Friday, me and hubby had tickets for Chatsworth, which included their market, the house, the garden and the illuminated trail, to say it was a long day is an understatement.

We set off around 9am and got there about 10am, we had a walk around the market initially, the weather was changeable but the rain set in around 11.30am, we headed into the house around 12 noon which we were grateful for.

The house was lovely as always, they've gone for a Nordic feel this year and re-used many of their decorations.

These beautiful baubles were hanging in the windows in the first corridor, they were stunning

The chapel was beautiful with trees and music

the oak room next to the chapel was stunning

I liked these decorations on the stairs, such a pretty colourway

The paper stars/snowflakes down one of the corridor looked amazing

We had a wander around the garden, before grabbing some food and a cuppa, the light levels started to drop so we were able to enjoy the illuminated trail, this was my favourite tree on the trail.

These also looked beautiful

The view of the market as we headed out of Chatsworth

we enjoyed another hour or so before we headed home, shattered but having had a really good day.

Saturday we headed up Sheffield for their Christmas market, which wasn't up to much, however I did manage to grab a couple of final presents for family which was good.

There was also a craft market on but the entry fee was high and so we headed home and down to the local heritage centre that also had a craft fayre on which we enjoyed instead.

I also managed to get some craft supplies and hubby got his first Belgian Blues of the season.

Sunday the weather was awful so we had a kick back day just chilling we'd had a couple of busy days so it made sense to kick back before the next busy work week

I hope you've had a lovely week too.
