ROCKING YOU WORLD FRIDAY - 42ND OF 2022

Good morning lovely people tis Friday time for

Well last Saturday was spent catching up with family, I got to catch up with my niece which was lovely as she lives in Leeds and I don't get chance to catch up very often.  My sister is going through the mill a bit at the moment, so we all wanted to be there for her.  It was a mentally tiring day.

Sunday we went to YSP, blogger is being naughty and putting the photos in reverse but her, this was a new artwork in the centre by a recent graduate, she had used inspiration from the park and created silicone shapes.

Outside the 'future relics' sculptures were fabulous

A giant rabbit

astronaut

classical statue

the head reminded me of the Statue of liberty

Pikachu

ET's bike

I absolutely adored the ombre tree in the park

loving the sun shining through the autumn leaves

a new sculpture by Randall page, using a single continuous line on this piece of granite

the view by the lake was lovely

they've moved the other astronauts

and this teapot one is fab

but the main reason for going was to see the Samantha Bryan display which is due to go on the 24 October, I absolutely adored this work

the fairies are soooooooooooooo cute

these two characters are so lovely

and this dust sprinkling fairy

genuinely I loved this display

Monday was a busy day in work, I'm due for an operation soon, so I'm trying to get top side of work in the interim as you can imagine this means I'm really busy again.

I hope you've had a lovely week.

Great photos from YSP, and a glorious sunny day by the look of things. Sorry your sister is having a tough time but glad she has a supportive family round her. Good luck for your operation. Happy Friday!

I love seeing all the sculptures that you visit. The teapot seed head was my favourite this time. And all the 'fairy' people are so cute,
I am glad you managed some more family time. It is so good to be able to meet up with one another.
Autumn colours are so beautiful. The sun shining through the leaves took me back a few years. In our last UK home we had a copper beech tree over the garage, and on sunny days it looked just like that.
I hope your weekend is fun. Kate x
