Good morning lovely people tis Friday time for
well it has been a mighty strange week if I'm honest, we are still in the main UK lockdown which means there really isn't anywhere to go currently other than food shopping. So we've hunkered down and just got on with life the universe and everything in the meantime, apart from anything we aren't actually allowed out at the moment, but more of that shortly
Given that it has been a pretty awful year for everyone this year, we weren't a little bit bothered when said 20 year old decided that we might as well start putting the trees up, so here are the dining room trees all up, we've gone with the triple white tree, Alice themed again
Sunday saw 'stir it up Sunday' literally creep up on me, I honestly thought it was next Sunday, but the National Trust put me right. Thankfully I had all the necessary ingredients to be able to throw one together so here are the obligatory stirring photos.
So I know it is a crazy thing to put on my positive post because I really shouldn't feel positive about it, but it is so lovely to know that people care.
I hope you've all managed to remain safe and secure and virus free, if you fancy joining in pop a post together, come back and link up and we can come and visit.
I am sorry you tested positive, hope you haven't been too poorly with it and are on the mend. Lovely gift from said 20 year old's girlfriend. And the trees look amazing, I did see them on FB the other day too. Hope yu get to go out again soon!
ReplyDeleteHi Virginia, I am so sorry you have been caught by the virus. I do hope you have a mild dose and the rest of the family remain well too. I am sure you are quite worried so be assured that I am thinking of you. I am glad folk are being kind.
ReplyDeleteI love the white trees, which I saw on Facebook earlier in the week. I can't wait to get mine up now.
I missed stir up Sunday this year as it will just be the two of us and we don't eat enough of either cake or pudding to make it worth me cooking them. I will probably buy a little individual pudding just for me if we get back to the English shop near Vera.
I hope you will be proved positive very soon. Hugs, Kate x
Sorry that was supposed to say negative. Feel free to edit it before publishing! xx
ReplyDeleteOh hon, I'm sorry to hear that you have tested positive. Are you feeling OK? Or are you feeling ill?
ReplyDeleteOn the positive side: you will develop immunity. And there is lots to be thankful for.
How sweet that the girl friend brought you flowers and chocolates! (even if she can't visit).
I do love your Xmas tree trio in red and white. Beautiful. (and fun too once you start looking and spot the theme).
I still haven't made my cake, so no stirring here. I suppose deep down I'm still hoping we can go and see my mum....(Pigs might fly).
Have a lovely weekend, keep you pecker up as they say.
Big hug
Lisca
