And here we are at the first Friday of September in 2015!
So what positive moments have the last 7 days had in store for us, well a long bank holiday weekend is always a positive isn't it. In fact spending the day with said 14 year old last Friday creating more vintage flowers was pretty awesome.
Next happy grateful is spontaneous activities, hubby was planning the weekend and noticed that Chatsworth had been open Friday and Saturday evenings over the summer period and last Friday and Saturday were the last evenings they were doing it. So with only an hour to spare (and an hour to get there), we grabbed coats and walking shoes/boots and headed out.
We had an idyllic evening, wandering the gardens, getting a pre-view of the Beyond Limits sculptures, getting to see a beautiful sunset and basically having an awesome family trip out!
Said 14 year old making the most of the Cascade not working to take great photos!
All 3 of us, sat on the Cascade which is usually flowing with water
One of the great sculptures
Look at the pretty sky!
And the house all lit up!
Having the coffee shop open so we could grab a warm drink and having a good journey home was also a positive!
Saturday saw us having a jaunt out to Brodsworth, I love this photo, very typical English country scene don't you think!
And even the flag waving in the breeze made us smile!
PJ day on Monday was very welcome, and then before we knew it back to work, a good week overall but very tiring.
Said 14 year old returning to school on Thursday for his first day in year 10 - time is literally flying by at a merry old pace.
Other grateful's include sitting and working on mini art quilts, great fun and quite therapeutic.
And that my lovely people will be your lot this week, I hope you've had a great week and have lots of positives to look back on and appreciate, if you fancy joining in pop a post together, come back and link up so we can come and visit. The therapy of clocking positive moments in life really has a positive effect on your outlook - so why not give it a whirl!
